In order to establish an account with robinshosting.com you must be a current ROP web design student. Accounts will not be created unless you are enrolled in the ROP Web Development Program. This hosting program is not open to the general public.

Terms of Service

Account Setup

We will attempt to setup your account within 72 hours. You must provide us with an email address which is not @ the domain(s) you are signing up under.

Content

All services provided by us may only be used for lawful purposes. This includes, but not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, pornography. Some examples of unacceptable material:

Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

We take a zero tolerance stance against sending of unsolicited e-mail, bulk emailing, and spam. "Safe lists" and "double optin" will be treated as spam. Any user who sends out spam will have their account terminated without notice.

We reserve the right to require changes or disable as necessary any web site, account, database, or other component that does not comply with this policy, at its sole discretion. We also reserve the right to make any such modifications in an emergency at our sole discretion.

We  reserve the right to charge the holder of the account used to send any unsolicited e-mail a clean up fee. This cost of the clean up fee is left entirely to the discretion of Robin's Hosting.com.

Important Information Before You Sign Up

  1. You must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in the ROP Web Development class with Robin Wood. Your account will NOT be approved if you are not an ROP student.
  2. You must use a valid email address to sign up for your account. Use an email address that you normally use to sign up for accounts and services on the Internet; do not try to use an email address with robinshosting.com.
  3. Your subdomain name must be at least 5 characters and a maximum of 8 characters.
  4. Print and keep the New Account Information mail that you receive. You will need these details to login to your account.
  5. Your account will remain open while you are enrolled in the Web Development Program. When you leave the program you must move your files to a new server because your account will be closed. Your instructor WILL NOT make backups of your files, you are responsible for copying your files from robinshosting.com to a new server or to your hard drive at home before you exit the class. If you sign up for a paid hosting account with Host Gator they will transfer your files.
